Our conferences are the central focus of the  work of Hospice23. We offer one conference a year, suitable for anyone working or volunteering within palliative and end of life care. Conferences always take place in beautiful, peaceful settings with good food and comfortable rooms. They aim to provide opportunities to explore complex issues, guided and facilitated by experienced and expert professionals. Time and space for reflection, networking, music and relaxation are an integral part of the programme. The overarching aim is that people will leave the conference refreshed, restored and re-energised.

This year’s conference ‘Working with Change’ will take place at Launde Abbey Leicestershire on the 8th - 10th November 2019.

We are living in what seem like unprecedented times in our country; politically, financially, socially and spiritually. Many organisations and individuals working in palliative and end of life care have felt the impact of changes that are outside their control. This year’s conference will explore the theme ‘Working with Change’ from multiple perspectives, enabling delegates to both reflect on their own experiences and that of the patients they work with. It will include presentations, workshops, discussions and creative sessions.

Each day will end with a time of spiritual reflection, based within the christian foundation of Hospice23. This reflective space will be suitable for people of all faiths and none.

14 CPD points are available to guests who attend the whole conference.
